AMPATH™ Workshop: Fostering Collaborations and Next Generation Infrastructure

AMPATH - Fostering Collaborations and Next Generation Infrastructure, seeks to create an environment for AMPATH participants, potential participants and those with a regional, hemispheric or international interest in the project to exchange ideas, form new and solidify existing collaborations, and form international teams to design next generation infrastructure. The conference will also provide a meeting venue for the AMPATH Working Groups, which are being formed around projects in specific interest areas such as biology, high energy physics and astronomy. 

Proposed speakers at the conference include researchers that participate in collaborative projects between the U.S., Canada, the AMPATH service area, Europe and Asia/Pacific.  Proposed topics, which have not been previously covered at AMPATH Conferences, include Disaster Management, Health Sciences, Distance Learning and European networking collaborations.

There is no registration fee for this workshop. English-Spanish Translation services will be provided. 

Wireless Internet access will be available in the conference center.

The AMPATH Workshop will be followed by the NCNE/ESCC/Internet2 Techs Workshop (a.k.a. Joint Techs), February 2-6, 2003.
